Production & Farmers Market Staff

HEX Ferments makes kombucha, sauerkrauts and kimchis in Baltimore. We’re looking for talent that appreciates the traditional craft behind our nutritious and delectable offerings. This position is full-time (40 hours) and works two weekday production shifts (Tuesday and Wednesday) and two weekend farmers markets (Saturday and Sunday).  

Our small and kind team takes pride in working hard together to meet the production goals set each week (1200 pounds of napa cabbage? No problem!). Farmers markets are where our business began and allow us to meaningfully engage with our customers.  We make foods that benefit our community, our local farms and the planet. It’s important that we find a team player who wants to learn, ask questions, and grow with HEX Ferments. 

Skills and qualities suited to this job::

  • Proficient communicator
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Food preparation and knife skills
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift 40 - 50 pounds, repetitively
  • Can follow recipes, verbal and written instructions
  • Problem solver with team mentality 
  • Enjoys delivering a good customer service experience at Farmers Markets
  • Drivers license

We offer:

-Hourly wage starts at $14.50/hour
