Kombucha Production Manager

 

HEX Ferments makes kombucha, sauerkrauts and kimchis in Baltimore. We’re looking for talent that appreciates the traditional craft behind our nutritious and delectable offerings.  This position is full-time (40 hours), Monday through Friday.  The Kombucha Manager is responsible for all aspects of production, including: forecasting and goals, ingredient ordering, inventory control, overseeing our bottle exchange program, microbial maintenance, and ensuring production for kombucha is complete. 

We value each staff member's role in producing our fermented foods. We value clear and consistent communication between all present.  It’s important that we find a team player who wants to learn an ancient craft, and grow with HEX Ferments. 

Skills and qualities suited to this job:

  • Managerial skills and/ or food production experience
  • Proficient communicator
  • Excellent time management and people skills.
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift 40 - 50 pounds, repetitively
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Calendar, Keep, etc)
  • Superb organizational skills
  • Ability to laugh, genuine curiosity. 
  • Passionate about making delicious kombucha!

We offer:

-Hourly wage starts at $16/hour
