HEX Ferments makes kombucha, sauerkrauts and kimchis in Baltimore. We’re looking for talent that appreciates the traditional craft behind our nutritious and delectable offerings and enjoys sharing what we make. This position is part-time (22 hours) and includes two weekend farmers market shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, year round.
Farmers markets are where our business began and allow us to meaningfully engage with our customers. We currently participate in two year-round farmers markets, the 32nd Street Farmers Market and DuPont Circle Farmers market. It’s important that we find a reliable team player who wants to learn, asks questions, and grow with HEX Ferments.
Skills and qualities suited to this job:
- Physical requirements: ability to lift 40 - 50 pounds, repetitively
- Can follow verbal and written instructions
- Proficient communicator
- Enjoys problem solving
- Enjoys delivering a good customer service experience at Farmers Markets
- Valid drivers license
